Documantaion License
Posted Thursday, 7 April, 2011 - 07:22 by aokomoriuta inHello.
Is there any page about license of the Documentation?
Same as the library (= The MIT License), or PD or other free license?
I want to translate/create some pages into/in Japanese and make them to be used freely.

Re: Documantaion License
Please consider the documentation released as Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial Share-alike (CC BY-NC-SA). A link to the original documentation is enough to satisfy the attribution clause.
(Edit: I've added this information to the manual)
Re: Documantaion License
Thanks for adding, but why -SA-NC, not -SA?
I mean, why do you restrict commercial use?
Additionally, There must be the version number (3.0 Unported, 2.5 Generic, 3.0 US etc.) and link to the original license page like http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ to use CC license.
See also legalcode (of CC-BY-SA-NC 3.0 Unported) 4.a.
