Newbie needs advice

I have a where users can create business cards using templates. The templates uses fields that are place using coordinates from top left . I would like to create an interface where I could drag the field around to setup the templates quickly. I tried to use system.drawing in .net but found the different resolution on different screens affected the top left positon. My question is can I use openTK to make sure the positions(top left coordinate) of the fields are returned the same no matter what the screen resolution is?

Would this be hard to do using OpenTK?

OpenTK is useful for accelerating your graphics, otherwise you could stick to System.Graphics.

About the coordinates, seems very odd I have never heard of something like this. Can you try to send a bitmap control to you form and draw stuff inside this?
(Perhaps you will refer to the coordinates of the control locally, rather than the form).

If you won't find a solution. Post some snippets for us to investigate.

Good luck :)

it makes sense that the different resolutions would affect the position, because of how resolution inherently works.

my guess is that lower resolutions make it go further right and higher resolutions make it go left, correct? You will probably have to figure out the resolution and figure out the positioning based off of the aspect ratio or something like that (this is just a guess since i haven't seen your code).
