Thank you, but I have already done this (yesterday!) and released it (v1.0.1). Although I realise I was linking to the wrong release from the project page, which is perhaps why you didn't spot it.

The character set is already configurable:

            var myFontConfig = new QFontBuilderConfiguration();
            myFontConfig.charSet += "þÛð";
            var myFont = new QFont("someFont.ttf", 14, myFontConfig);

I'd prefer, by default, to use the usual English character set for the sake of not wasting video memory on a larger texture; however, if you let me know what characters are necessary for Spanish, then I can add a helper method. Perhaps it might look something like:

            var myFontConfig = new QFontBuilderConfiguration();
            myFontConfig.charSet = QFont.Locale.Spanish;
            var myFont = new QFont("someFont.ttf", 14, myFontConfig);
