running examples with mono on windows

hi folks...i'm NM156 from germany.

when i try to start the opentk examples on a windows machine(testet with winXP and win7) with .NET, all examples seems to be running fine.

when i install mono 4 windows and start the examples with "mono examples.exe" the example explorer opens up, but when i try to start one of the opengl examples nothing happens.(though, the openAL samples are working)
mono.exe then hangs and i have to kick it out manually.

is this a normal behavior, shouldn't opentk run regardless using mono or .NET on windows?
