Mouse causing latency on a GLControl

Hi there, everybody.

I have a little issue with the GLControl. It renders perfectly and works fine, but, whenever the mouse is over the control, it takes double the amount of time to render the control than it normally does. I can't figure out for the life of me what's causing this to occur. I tried removing my mouse events, removing my timed invalidate calls, and I just cannot figure it out.

I have several stopwatches running which measure render times - the odd thing is, only the "Compile Time" measure gets doubled (as well as Total Frame Time, although that's a global measure), even if no actual work occurs between the stopwatch Start/Stop calls.

I'm at a loss as to why this could occur.
